Eyecare. We care for your eyes, whether treating a red eye, monitoring diabetic eye complications or maximizing your vision. Contact lenses can usually be tried on your first visit so you can see before you leave. Our in house optical lab allows us to customize your eyeglass needs as well. Hundreds of frame styles will entice you. Tiny frames for infants or Jumbo lines for the big guy provide lots of choices, and if you have special needs we will do what it takes to get something you will love.  We have been selected as one of 12 offices in the country that introduce new concepts from Silhouette, one of the finest European fashion and engineering frame companies. Specialty contact lens services include custom designed soft, RGP, hybrid and scleral contacts that can help even eyes distorted by injury or keratoconus. Orthokeratology lenses can correct myopia while you sleep so that no lenses or glasses are used during waking hours. This has been shown to reduce progression of myopia in children.

History

I was living in Philadelphia following completion of my Optometry degree. After working a year for Eyeland Optical I elected to start my own private practice in Voorhees, NJ. Dr. Messinger allowed me to share the Eyeland name but shortly afterwards decided to change his company name so I was the only Eyeland in this area. My sister Anita was a BSN working at a geriatric center in Philadelphia and agreed to help me by returning to school to become an optician. She always had a special sense of fashion and style and enjoyed being able to help our patients look better as well as see better. Our reputation has grown and April of 2009 we moved to our Condo at 1001 Laurel Oak Road Ste A1 where we doubled our size and can offer even more personalized service. In 2013 we affiliated with Vision Source the largest organization of independent optometrists in the nation. We continue to offer advanced services including electrodiagnostics (VEP and ERG), wide field laser retinal scanning, OCT and corneal mapping.
